The SICC Series – CBRNe Conference 2026 builds upon the success of its previous editions to strengthen the scientific, institutional, and operational dialogue on non-conventional safety and security.

Organized by the University of Rome Tor Vergata in cooperation with national and international partners the event serves as a unique meeting point for universities, research centres, armed forces, civil protection agencies, first responders, policymakers, and industry leaders engaged in the CBRNe domain.

The 2026 edition will highlight integrated risk management and resilience, bridging topics such as emergency and crisis coordination, detection and decontamination technologies, medical and health management, AI-enabled decision support, cybersecurity, education and training, forensic investigation, and climate-related emerging threats.

Through plenary talks, technical sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, the conference aims to foster innovation, share best practices, and promote international cooperation in protecting people, critical infrastructures, and the environment from CBRNe and hybrid threats in an ever-changing world.

Through the International Master Courses in Protection against CBRNe Events, the University of Rome Tor Vergata fosters consolidated collaborations with the following national and international partners, who will be participating in the SICC Series – CBRNe Conference 2026:
