Riccardo Quaranta is a research fellow in CBRN safety and security and prevention against terrorist attacks at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and completed successfully the first edition of the 2nd Level International Master Course in “Protection against CBRNE events” in 2010. Since then, Riccardo took part in research activities in the field of CBRNe safety. Due to his experience, he is a member of the directive board of the International CBRNe Master Courses of the University of Rome Tor Vergata and has participated in the organization of several conferences and workshops, such as SICC 2017. He co-authored several scientific papers published on Italian and international journals and presented the work of the team at international conferences. He has extensive international experience as he studied in Finland and worked in Australia and Thailand.
